GWR operates this route, and provides the fastest rail connection to Oxford. Advance tickets go on sale up to 24 weeks ahead and offer the best prices. Off-Peak fares are valid after 09:30 on weekdays and anytime at weekends.

Train from London Marylebone

Frequency Around 2 trains per hour (every 30 minutes)
Arrives At Oxford Station (do not confuse with Oxford Parkway)

Chiltern Railways operates this route via Bicester. Slightly slower fares than GWR. A good alternative, especially if you are coming from north or west London.

Arrives At Gloucester Green coach station — central Oxford

"The Airline" (Oxford Bus Company) is the most frequent direct service, running around the clock. National Express also operates the route. This is the most convenient option if you are flying in — no need to go via central London.
